Nicci French is the husband and wife writing team of journalists Nicci Gerard and Sean French. Losing You is their ninth thriller and sure to be another best selling book. Nina Landry, living on a small British island, is about to go on vacation with her boyfriend and two kids when her older child goes missing. Through the course of a single day she must solve buried secrets as she races to find her daughter and save both their lives. The French's may not be literary masters but they know how to plot and tell a fast paced story and keep the reader up through the night. The characters are real and Nina Landry is a fine strong lead character. Fans of the family in jeopardy crime novel will love this book, an excellent example of this sub genre.
